Bruce Gomersall

Bruce is a Yorkshireman living in Oxfordshire. Originally only coming here on Missionary work, but settled here after despairing of improving the place.

Bruce GomersallHe has been a performer/MC at Nettlebed club for nearly 40 years. He has performed or been on stage with most of the top performers on the UK Folk scene, and done concert and MC spots at Sidmouth, Warwick, Whitby and Otley Festivals, as well as a load of Folk Clubs around the UK. He sings a range of stuff going from trad to contemporary, sometimes also telling short stories of his colourful early years. He has a few self-penned songs which he plays on a mix of guitar and Bouzouki.

2 CD’s to date, made with a select range of musicians, and a First World War set which is extremely powerful.

Philip Murray Warson
