River Evenlode Bridge Proposed Traffic Calming

February 2, 2019 By Paul Cunningham

Oxfordshire County Council is consulting on the proposal to install a ‘signed & lined’ priority working for traffic crossing the bridge over the River Evenlode to the north of Ascott-under-Wychwood, with priority given to traffic travelling north-westwards out of the village – with vehicles travelling south-east towards the village being required to give way to oncoming traffic. This proposal is being put forward in order to assist the safe movement of traffic and help improve road safety in the area. In light of this, please find the following consultation documents attached:

As stated on the notice, any objections or other representations on the proposal should be submitted by Friday 15th February 2019
